Apollo 440 – Stop The Rock

“Stop the Rock” was a 1999 single by the British group Apollo 440. It appeared on the album Gettin’ High on Your Own Supply, and has been described as the group’s breakout single. The song was inspired by Status Quo’s “Caroline”. The lead vocal was performed by Ian Hoxley, formerly of Gaye Bykers on Acid. Trevor Gray, Howard Gray, Ian Hoxley and Noko are credited as composers of the song.
